Be careful Heber--you fall for a local girl and she'll have you moving back to Hawaii Nei in no time;) :D I bet that other Hawaii forumites (or in my case "former") can tell you what in that picture tipped me off for sure that she was local--anyone? And its not a race thing at all btw.

Nope, its the bracelet actually:D Very popular style over there. I don't know much about style of jewelry but I think it has hawaiian words or your name in stylized lettering--with kind of a multifaceted gold pattern. I also saw alot of necklaces (she might be wearing one in this pic--can't tell) of that style. Rectangular pendants with same lettering style.
 
Don't have a more current pic, so this'll have to do. Just a goofy ham with a bad hair cut. Gentle as a teddy bear except when riled.:eek:
