Posted Sales, My Policy, and an Irritation

I can't figure out laro1's definition of "integrity". To me a "sale" always meant "hurry because stuff will be gone". Happened to me a few times that I didn't make it. Big deal.

I had (only one but very good) experience with John at Cumberland Knives.

With all the negativity that goes on in the world today, it is always a breath of fresh air when someone really stands out and shines in a difficult situation! Once again this site and the members here never cease to amaze. John, you are a true gentleman that has gone well beyond the call of duty!
Salud!

It's a sadder day here when we start wielding the words "integrity" and "honor" as leverage to coerce others when we don't get our way.

I don't understand your logic, laro1. John informed you that the item had been sold out.
And he did not charge you at that point. How did you know that the knife was still in stock? "Baiting" is a very serious accusation. Does it not surprise you that nobody is with you in this matter?

Darn all of you Dealers here on the Forums. You guys are all unbelievable. Not only are your prices great, customer service outstanding, plus you're all one of us.

The problem is, I don't have enough busines to share with all of you that deserve my business. Darn you!

john is a good guy.
he is in the process of exchanging a BM750BT for my collection because it came from the factory with some very minor imperfections.

btw john, email me with your shipping cost on the new knife and i will mail you a check to cover that plus a couple bucks for aggravation.

No I don't
Yes I do...

John has been straight with me, and met his agreed prices and quantities.

I do not believe that he did or would break his word or fail to honor any agreement he makes.

Having been the first a couple of times to see ads, and more often the second, I understand the frustration, but not the attitude. Get over yourself, man!

John, just keep doing what you do- BF Appeciates you!

I showed one of John's ads to a fellow I work with (then a bladeless loser but now a happy, BM710, M2 blade carrying forumite, thanks to John), and he bought 2. I guess if we follow laro's lead we could all scrounge the dealer's forum for old posts and say, "hey buster you never said the sale was over!"

Don't they make anything in Napa Valley besides whine.
