Prayers Needed for G2s Grandson

Gary, please let the family know that we're all pulling for you guys. With all the bouncing around little Carter was doing in the womb, I'm confident that the same strength and vibrancy that got him into this rough patch will be all that's required to successfully see him through the other side. :)

Gary, it's a shame that you couldn't have made it up here to Aberdeen to "meet & greet" while you were "in the area". I trust that your grandson will be ok. You and he are in my thoughts, with my BEST wishes for his full, quick recovery.

thanks, would have been great but timing was/is too tight, maybe next time
also would like to visit Mt Saint Helen next time too, can't believe it's been
over 25 years since that happened!

And thanks Bronco, I agree, he was a jumpy boy during the pregnancy, lively
fellow, so hopefully his strength will pull him through, I guess what they are
going to go over is an EEG thing to see if he shows any signs of seizures or
brain damage, I thought that was settled but it's this test they are not done
viewing yet, fingers are doubly crossed!

Thanks Anthony, some news today, just home from the west coast went and
visited my daughter and grandson, they got the eeg test back and did not find
any brain damage, but, they say they are going to run some more tests tomorrow
they want to be sure, which is a good thing but he's so helpless, too many tests
sometimes, we shall see, thanks for all the prayers and smoke guys/gals, much
appreciated and seems to be heard!

Great news. I hope tomorrow's tests turn out well too.

I'll be sending some positive thoughts his way.

He comes from a good family! We're looking forward to lots of good news from him. He may look helpless, but he's in there trying.

Thanks guys, here are a couple of photos my wife took of Carter;

On the mend but still needs attention for a bit longer in the hospital.

Adorable!

The little fella's got a pretty good head of hair, with sideburns, too!

Gary,

You have a beautiful little grandson there! Our prayers are with Carter and the rest of the family. Like you said, he's in God's hands, and that's a pretty unbeatable place to be!

Thanks again guys, just got a call from my daughter, another MRI test found some
small damage, they say it 'may' be a sign that he 'may' be a little slower on the
learning curve, crawling, speech and things like that, but, it's not a positive sign
that will happen, just an indication, so as before, we're praying that will not be the
case and those small spots will heal quickly and not cause complications.
G2

That's a bit of a relief. Healing is something newborns do well, especially since he'll be warm and well-fed.

Exactly. Newborns are born tough, and can self-heal alot of damage. He will be just fine...We at BF wouldn't have it anyother way...

you betchabygolly!

Visited him again today, sleeping in his father's arms, but drinking from
the bottle for him mom good, but, not so good for the nurses, so they
have a feeding tube down on nostril, but, they are busy with every baby
in there, lots of premies, so they don't have the time to fuss as much
as a mom or dad or grandma, hopefully he will come home early next
week.

Heading to Clearwater again, they wanted me to leave today, but asked
politely if I could leave tomorrow, they said, ok which is good as I've been
on the trail a lot since March this year, getting a bit tired of it!

Quick update, got word last night that the hospital will most likely let him go
home today, which sounds like good news, they'd not let him leave unless they
felt it would be safe, fingers crossed still!

Great news, Gary! Sounds like things are turning around. We'll keep the little guy, and your whole family, in our prayers.
