I forgot to update friday but my wife got the job! first they told her she would need a 2nd interview but then they called friday and hired her and offered her 3 dollars more an hour than what we even expected, she doesnt start for a couple weeks but this is a blessing!

congrats to the wife!

as to sriracha -- it also goes good in alfredo sauce. when mixed with garlic, soy sauce, and PB, it makes a decent satay to baste on grilling meat.

Think I'm going to chronograph a few loads and see how it does. It has always pushed bullets quite a bit faster than any load data said it should and below max charge without pressure signs. If I don't like the results I'll probably just order a new custom barrel for it.

Story from my little town...

9-1-1 Dispatcher was on the desk one afternoon. Call comes in from an obviously distraught lady.

"I need the Fire Department. I need the Fire Department."

Dispatcher: "What's the problem, Ma'am?"

Lady: "My cat is stuck up in a tree! I need the Fire Department!"

Dispatcher: "Is the cat on fire?"

Silence....
 
Good ending to the season of TWD. Kinda sucks that it done til Feb, but I spose I'll find something else to do for an hour a week.

My 308 is sporting a 16.5" barrel. It's a loud beast and I'm trying to decide what to replace it with.

I've shot some 16" 223's and they are pretty loud, I would imagine a 308 would be insane. Is that on an ar10?
 
I have a 16 inch .308 I will NEVER sell it I love my PRECIOUS.............................
 
Just wear ear plugs!!! I wish I had worn them when I was younger cuz I'm only 31 now and have some very noticeable hearing loss in my left ear and probably some in my right too. I won't ever shoot again without something protecting my ears.

yup. oil company didn't deliver oil friday. oops. ran out :) jerks.

good thing i have an electric heat pump ;P

fireplace would be next, though i'm considering a wood stove insert.

worst case, walmart for a couple ceramic heaters...

not really cold, just no hot water. bah :)

yay! cold weather survival gear ;)
