morning folks. having the first cup of coffee and trying to stay warm. it's -20 C (-4 F) with the wind chill over here. how's everyone feeling this morning? i've been up since 4. having trouble sleeping - ugh.

Nothing can kick the Manix2 out of my pocket. So far...
I've tried many other Spydercos, BM Grip,Bonecollector, 940(sweet knife), 710, ZT 0561, 0566... The Manix2 reigns supreme! I wish BK&T had a folder.

Just got a Manix II
in the exchange. Probably going to end up booting all my others out of my pocket....when I start wearing pants again. :wink: I probably shouldn't put this anywhere near that last sentence: but I just can't stop fondling it. It's beefy, feels very solid and locked up feels just like a small fixed blade. First Spyderco I've owned and I couldn't be happier. Maybe I should find the XL version....damn knife addiction!

Which one did you guys get? I've got a blue lightweight one. Love it, but almost never carry it since it's sadly somewhat obtrusive on this side of the globe... I don't even consider it as being that big or wide, but it let's many alarmbells go off in my environment. Too bad.

Thats what im worried about too, it might just be a little too big, but i havent held either so its hard to know for sure. Finding the XL with G10 and FFG is easier for me though.

I can find the regular manix2 with flat grind but its FRCP and i can find it with g10 but it is hollow ground (i think, it looks hollow ground anyway)

MIne is hollow ground, but I don't care. S30V. mmmmMMm! Lots of well placed jimping. Great fit in my smallish to normal size hand...I'm sorry, G10 Knockout, but I'm leaving you for another knife. ZT, you can share if you like, but you know how it is with the menage-a-trois...someone always gets more love than the other....
