on reflection, i was oblivious to the fact that certain kinds of humor and tone aren't necessarily as funny online, as they might be in person
"your mom" jokes used to be a thing; not so much now, eh? unfortunately, i ran with it... not what i intended. very much not so.
sorry about all that. really. truly. i'll refrain from any online humor attempts for the foreseeable future. oh, yes i will.
i'm going to go reboot my human module. this was a bad week to attempt to interface with anything but computers.

Flat ground, shmat ground....this thing is nicely slicely....can you tell it's my new favorite? Looking from the start of the hollow grind to the edge, it has the profile of a much thinner blade. I'll try to get a picture that shows the edge geometry. Don't hold your breath.Thanks for those pics granite, it looks like an excellent blade! I like the looks of it much more than the ZT honestly.

Went to the Goodwill thrift shop this morning.
Found this buried under a bunch of kitchen utensils.
I would have taken it home, but it was a little overpriced at $3.99.
Plus, I have enough large kitchen knives as it is....lol
Eh, maybe I'll go back and see if they'll haggle on the price.

Went to the Goodwill thrift shop this morning.
Found this buried under a bunch of kitchen utensils.
I would have taken it home, but it was a little overpriced at $3.99.

Ha! I saw you put in a bid for that over in the Busse sale area. Nice try. One of the better lookin' Busse's I've seen in a while. I'm looking to maybe pickup my first peice of INFI soon. They be growing on me

the funny thing is I live about 20 minutes from where Busse knives are made and i have absolutely no desire to own any of them or meet their maker.

Its an infectious disease, an expensive one, quick and find antibiotics before its too late.
Im down to my last hog, but its this little guy, but it wont be staying either, just cant justify the price for the size of this one, its one of my more expensive blades, this one cost 384 shipped when i got it with no sheath, but its also my smallest fixed blade out the family, so i cant justify that in my mind no matter how "pretty" it is. Plus i been enjoying large blades a lot more lately so if i dont sell it ill end up trading it for something bigger later.
But my choppy and 1 of a kind DropManDU, wont be leaving me EVER EVER EVER, never!

they wouldnt let you in the shop even if you did, they have a closed door policy. We have asked about buying from the shop in person but that is not an option.
