Somebody should make the said trademarked hole just out of round, or an oval, just to see what Mr.Busse says.

This thread turns to a Busse debate more than i even like anymore. Im the type of person to speak my mind when i feel i should but when someone posts a picture of a knife i dont like i just dont comment, when someone says they like something that i dont like i just dont comment. But jonny post a pic of a BWM, Eero says he is interested in a Busse, I say im down to my last one... then the hate starts.

Quick somebody get this thread on track!!

Jonny told me he likes cold steel better than beckers

That's almost humorous coming from you.

That's been covered ad nauseum. It's not a good idea.

I truly wish people would bitch and complain about me and my knives as much as they do about Jerry and his.

The dude's a freaking genius.

I know right?

It is getting old though, i admit it. Im done trying to justify anything to anyone.

My knives justify themselves. Plain and simple. Im after the best regardless of the name on it.

I will never forget my first knife, it was a no-name 3-bladed pocket knife my dad got me when I was Three years old. and my first fixed blade, it was a ''Ruko''with a rainbow laminate handle with a 440c blade (at least it was full-tang) unfortunately I lost it after about 5 months. :(

It's quite easy with a Spyderco Sharpmaker!

I have never really looked into the sharpmakers, much less used one, Ill have to check them out sometime. I like the regular worksharp with the fine belt for machetes and stuff but really i use a strop 80% of the time these days, and sandpaper and mousepad the other 20% when its needed.

my first "decent" knife was a Gerber Gator folding blade. It was a hell of a knife and it is currently sitting at the bottom of Lake Erie. Long story there... After that I went through a series of Kershaws. The Leek is STILL one of my favorite gentleman folders, to this day.

I hope that nobody would ever not pursue something because of me. Let me be clear, I have no ill will towards Busse even though my comments sometimes may not reflect that. truth is, Jerry has accomplished great things and makes a great knife. His business practices have worked well for him and I respect that. they may not be practices that I would adopt, but that's me. Hes the bigger dawg. I get it. That whole thing aint my thing, but its worked well for him and Im happy for him. I wish him further success just as I hope he would me.

Too be sure. I have no interest, nor had any interest in him, his genius, his trademarks and patents and certainly not his blades, or the cost of them. I don't know him or wish to know him. Of course, I don't have reservations about what others want either. To each their own. Having said that, and in order to be more commercially and er....politically correct......I prefer no holes where he likes to put them. ;)

First knife was a SAK a few months before i turned 7, 2nd knife was a shrade Old timer fixed blade if i remember correctly at 8 or 9.
