More interesting is definitely your opinion, which your entitled to, but my opinion is copper ore looks quite a bit better and more interesting than all the kirinite i have seen.

I have looked at a lot of different kirinite, i looked into using it for scales and everything a month or 2 ago. but i really like how the copper ore acrylic looks. In my opinion it looks better than all the kirinite i have seen. Its also my favorite acrylic and i have one of WillyDs bead made of it and its just awesome material.

And if you guys see a pen in a gas station made of copper ore you could prolly sell it to me for a profit.

We have lots of electrical gak out in the weather on the ship. We use self-vulcanizing (self-fusing, self-amalgamating) tape to seal connections. It's basically a stickum-less rubber tape with a backer. You stretch and wrap it around and it seals up to itself very nicely. Another technique is to use tape and some kind of goop on top as a secondary sealer. That's done for towed gear, which a cord under the snow might be - if there's a junction there. For the ends I'd use the self-vulcanizing stuff. Spendy, but awesome.

Just made me think of this: silicone plumbers repair tape at the Depot or 6 or 7 bucks. Sticks only to itself and is stretchy and water tight. I've thought about using it on my Beckers, too. It's really grippy as well.

I hope that nobody would ever not pursue something because of me. Let me be clear, I have no ill will towards Busse even though my comments sometimes may not reflect that. truth is, Jerry has accomplished great things and makes a great knife. His business practices have worked well for him and I respect that. they may not be practices that I would adopt, but that's me. Hes the bigger dawg. I get it. That whole thing aint my thing, but its worked well for him and Im happy for him. I wish him further success just as I hope he would me.

I would of cracked up laughing too if i knew nobody would take it seriously. But if murph read that he might think i said something like that for real and that was not what i said or meant at all, basically the opposite.
