Derek is a huge asset around here and a great personality. Of course, I'd never let him know that.
 
I think slacker is trying to tell me something. Over the course of today I've heard Ozzy Osborne's Crazy Train probably 7 times.
 
Man its pouring down rain here. Im not complaining it brought warmer temps with the rain. Its 56 degrees right now instead of 36 so ill take the rain.

But my basement is flooding, it does with every real hard rain, the people who own the building sealed up some steps and a door that use to go outside from the basement but they did a piss poor job sealing it and water just flows in. My cardboard archery target is SOAKED. ill have to make a new one when it dries up some. Oh well not like its hard, or expensive LMAO
 
I think I've decided that I've decided to go with a Benchmade to satisfy my desire for a new folder. I think I've narrowed it down the the Adamas or the 890, but I'm not sure which I'll go with yet.

WW, I was looking at the 2014 Spyderco catalog and it looks like they are switching the Manix2 from hollow to ffg. I suppose it woulda been nice to have known that before you already had a hg one on the way.

Good morning guys! It is cold this morning 45° right now... Just finished this bk7 brown leather wrapped sheath. Worldwoods pot belly is up next.

I always liked the Adamas look but that benchmade 890 looks sweet too. Never used a benchmade so i dont really have an opinion on which to get, looks like a tough choice.

And that would figure they would make it ffg after i made a deal LMAO
 
That BK7 sheath is sweet 710!!

That's a good-looking Benchmade. The HG on my mini-grip is very well executed, but I'm a FFG kinda guy too. My first Spyderco will be FFG - maybe to arrive on Friday.

Watcha getting Daizee? I'm kinda leaning towards the 890 over the Adamas. It is just a great looking knife.

Trust me, they'll figure it out ;)

I'm not a Luddite or anything like that. I use a computer every single day and most of my knives are made of "super steels" and synthetic handle materials, for Pete's sake. I just think this stuff is way out of hand with kids, especially pre-school kids. We have young people graduating high school with a phone permanently attached to their hand, who can't spell their way out of a wet paper bag and wouldn't know how to use a real encyclopedia or the Dewey decimal system if their life depended on it. :rolleyes:

Crayons! Paper! Sticks and dirt! Put down the hypno-device and go play in the woods! Read an actual book! Build a treehouse! Fall out of it! Skin a knee or break an arm, it builds character!

And GET OFF MY LAWN!!! ......................................................................................... :D
