Prepare for a takeover.... The secret order of the leg knife is no longer a secret.

So.... can you open a bottle of beer with it?

Yes. Unfortunately, the contact area is so small that you have to "open" in a couple of areas of the cap to get the cap to pop off. Not much different than the cap lifter blade. But you can open a beer with it.

The knife is interesting but I think I'm more intrigued by the banana bread beer...

So did it come with miniature lace bloomers? I mean, please, Grandma, nobody wants to see your gnarly bovine gams!

Very nice rma100. Are you ready to take over? I'm thinking the first order of business will be to decide what to do with those that don't have anything nice to say about leg knives. :grumpy:

I'll reiterate something I said on a different lady-leg thread (perhaps there should be a separate lady-leg forum?:p). As an example, I think the ivory leg posted by rma100 is very nice looking. The smooth ivory makes sense on what is supposed to look like a fetching young lady's leg. It's the juxtaposition of non-ladylike scale materials and textures on what is supposed to remind one of the pleasant shapes of the female anatomy that causes cognitive dissonance. There, I think I worked in three SAT vocab words.

No offense meant on your knife in particular.

One would think that a TRUE Knife Afficiando would appreciate the qualities of all types of Cutlery.

:p No offense taken. Just like everyone else though, you'll have to pay the piper!

HA! The rebel alliance was formed to overthrow the Emperor's weird obsession with gnarly lady legs! (Although it makes sense that Palpatine would find them attractive - must remind him of his wife's!)

I don't know how much beer (or other cap top beverages) you drink, but it'll be interesting to see how the opener holds up over time.

Maybe we need a male leg knife for the rougher cover materials.

Purely as a cutting tool and bottle opener the leg will work like any other I'm sure, and it will certainly get interesting looks and questions when used. I don't know if I would spend the money for a GEC leg but maybe a Rough Rider. If nothing else it would be a conversation piece.

I'm afeared that if I get a leg knife, that I'll feel bound to get a leg lamp as well to balance things out. I'm not sure how Karen would feel about that.

Just take it one step at a time;) the lamp issue will simply work itself out when you get to that junction :D
