Prepare Ye' The Way For The Boss Of All Jacks.....

I sure like the feel of the Proto boss jacks in my hands.

I don't think that .22 is crazy thick for them. That said, the thickness down to the edge was just ridiculous. That same spine thickness with a reasonable grind at the edge would be ok.

Thinner would be even better!

.17-.187 would work great!!

Especially if it was a JackAsymMuk... you know BOSS Jack handles with an asym edge and a muk shaped blade! ;) Now say BOSS JAM with a spanish J and it sounds like BOSS HAM!! :D

Usually the protos are a bit different from the production knives, I wonder if Busse will change it up a bit and if so, what? This should be good!

I love the BJ!!! I wonder what knid of edge is on it, or if some are convex and others are not? I would LOVE to se a BJ w/ green linen!
We need pictures, please.

Thanks Jerry!!! :)

I'm kind of hoping for that and wondering the same thing.

The spine thickness didn't kill it for me, I like beefy knives. The grind was horrifically thick all the way down to the bevel, then the edge was sharpened at atleast 40 degrees per side. I resharpened it to about 25 degrees per side and it made the bevel go FAR up the blade. Had I thinned it anymore, it would look silly.

If it's the Boss of All Jacks.. Then it MUST BE the SLEDGE HAMMER!!!!!!!!! cause this is the ultimate of all Jacks out there. SJTAC on Steroids! I've always wanted a Sledge hammer in Combat grade :)

Sorry, I will google this but I might not be able to find info. So if you could, what is a Boss Jack Sledge Hammer?

Edit: yep googling just took me to my post...

Do you guys realize that there's 7 available blade finishes (6 plus satin LE) and 9 possible handle options? So we're talking...63 possible variations of Jack?

I was hoping for a BM or yes even a MUK, but the more I think about this new offering the more excited I get :)

Bring the pics! :) :D
