I like the idea of the full convex grind to a zero edge before coating them. One of the reasons I ended up stripping some Busses was all the coating I had to grind off to maintain a good convex profile. Some people were shocked at how high the belt went on the blade. Now, with these Boss Jacks, a little occassional stropping should be all that is necessary, and the blade coating will remain mostly intact. Great idea! :thumbup:
