Pro-Tech knives what say you?

The TR-3 is under $300 and has a Ti frame lock......that is tough as nails and smoother than snot!!

I have 3 Pro Techs.....TR-3 manual, Ti frame lock, a Sprint, small auto a and a black ash burl Godfather. Between my 3 sons and I that Godfather must have been deployed a gabillion times....still deploys like a rocket!
I have dealt with Mapi, CS chick extraordinaire, a few times for clips and a blade swap. CS couldn't be better IMO.
Excellent company that stands behind their product!
Give her a call with any concerns you have.
Good luck and let us know what you decide.
Joe

I'm still considering my next move, but I certainly appreciate the information and your thoughts. Thank you sir.

Cheers,

Dan

Dddrees, they have an excellent warranty, Price alittle high but the service is great. GC

Had a Runt & Stinger If play to much springs will go like all other brand, not trying put down Pro-tech but springs do go like others. Nothing last for ever, sometimes it needs to be replace. That's life, Gary

Not into autos but love my TR3 Manual Integrity.

Pro-Tech, when are you going to make an under-3 inch manual!

It took Dave awhile to get the springs out. GC
Are the springs covered under warranty or how expensive are they? So having them do it is that an option, and how easy is it to do yourself? Besides doesn't taking apart the knife void the warranty?

No if you e-mail him, he 'll send them out , it was free back then. But try e-mail him & see if he'll send them out. Like I said they are a great Co. Gary

I'm really start to believe they are a great company with a good solid product. However what I was trying to determine if this kind of thing would be covered under warranty, and whether they would do the work or whether their would be some sort of charge for it.

Dddrees, I never got charge, but you should e-mail them. See what the warranty is. I'm sure they will cover their knives. Again they have great service. Gary
