This thread is a bit challenging to follow, what with all the characters involved, but it seems it may boil down to Talbot owing Liu Kang a knife. I'm not sure what to make of what the tracking number says, nor if that is proof of delivery as I am unfamiliar with Canada Post, and Talbot/Varulv did not follow the agreed to shipping protocol.
Also, in my limited experience here, when purported family members start chiming in, it only makes me more suspicious. I'm currently not buying the Varulv story, however I am willing to be proven wrong. At a minimum I wouldn't do business with him.

Everyone else, we have a problem here, as I bet you've guessed. I'm going over a lot of information. If we don't get confirmation on the knife supposedly sent to Navarro, that's it.

I will be putting up a FEEDBACK information post linking to these threads and warning people about this evident thief.

Sad that you need to hire a private investigator before you do a trade with some folks.

Guess the great-grandmother will chime in next with a sob story from the grave.
 
My pleasure Guyon and GigOne...he has also gone by Dan84.

He has cut a wide swath of scams in just about every corner of the online knife discussion world.
 
Good riddance. I hope he scams the wrong person soon, and it bites him where the sun don't shine.

Anybody that is reading this thread in the future that knows of Daniel Talbot joining back up on Bladeforums under a different user name, could you please post the new information so that others won't get taken by this guy? Thanks.
