That's an expensive outing depending on the caliber! What were you shooting?........ I have shot more than my share of rabbits (afternoon record was about 340 when we stopped counting) but given what my most commonly used "rabbit rifle" is for the past few years I don't do much skinning....![]()

I used to limit myself to no more than 100 rounds of 338LM in a day and those were hand loads. ( still expensive and accounts for about 3-4 percent of the barrel life also).

......... yes two different times..... 300+ bunnies in an afternoon was .22LR, these days my most commonly used "Bunny Gun"338LM is a touch big for rabbits.
