One material that I've seen is black acrylic, don't know if GEC has used it much but I do have a 1 of 1 Rendezvous Special 92 that was made with it, may be too shiny though, it is a deep black.

I'm not sure Jack, I would think they have had to use it in the past to have it laying around to make that 92.

I think GEC made 71’s with black Delrin in 2013 and 2018. I don’t think they used acrylic on Farm and Field knives, but I’m not certain.

It's been a long time since I looked at the GEC website, but I thought that range was available in either orange or black acrylic?

I don't see why people need to be sarcastic and snide towards a respected long-term contributor like L lambertiana ? He was merely stating his personal situation and he used the key word IF. Since we have all contributed to this thread and also added humorous pictures/ideas it has bulked up considerably. Post 1 does not state exactly what the scales will be but black, as it is obviously a work-in-progress. Eventually Charlie and GEC will say what the material will be, speculating is hardly a crime.

It looks to have the same length as the #15 frame, but is shaped more like a smaller #74 frame.

Interesting. I wonder if the sculptor was friends with the Norwegian guy who made one of my personal favorites, Naked Man Fighting Babies. (Ok, that’s not really the title, but it is a very accurate description.)
