That's because you didn't read the rules for this sub-forum. In all your 'lurking' and browsing here, did you not notice that the knives posted were traditional ones?

I wasn't suggesting that your post wasn't nice, merely saying that the rules here are very simple: post traditional content, be nice 👍

The problem is if there are 500 made, and 700 people want them, it has to come down to either a mad scramble of first-come-first-served, or parameters must be set. That usually comes down to either time of membership, or amount of participation.

I don't want to be unwelcoming or elitist, but if 'club members' have to compete to get a 'club knife' it isn't really a club knife anymore and is just another GEC drop with our name on it.

I'll second what r8shell r8shell said. I love this place and support it with a membership, but I don't post much. It's the frequent posters, the content generators, that keep me coming back because I learn so much from them. From my perspective, the folks who breathe life into this subforum should have first dibs on the forum knife 👍
 
Will the serial numbers be based on whole numbers or counting numbers? Vaguely wondering if there's a chance someone will come up with "000" :D .

And thanks to waynorth waynorth and GEC for doing this. I was certain we'd seen the last of the BF Traditional Forum Knife after last year and it restores my faith in humanity to see it make a return! Good luck to all!
 
I want in been a while and getting back into the traditional game. Is there an order form for these yet? Did I miss it? If anyone could message me and let me know they would be great! Missed you all and can’t wait to be back
