Nice that we are giving so many people who have just been lurking for 8 years a reason to get involved in the community, though, at least for a little while. I have not been exceptionally active recently, myself.

Hopefully the qualification rules would not be as harsh this year. Even though I am a forum member and had enough forum post by the time last years forum knife, I was not eligible as my posts in the traditional section was not sufficient. With all the respect, not posting frequently enough in traditional forms does not mean that I do not enjoy traditionals (see the picture below). And I do not think this rule does help with flippers. Hopefully, this rule would be re-considered in this years forum knife rules as it is pretty difficult to score a GEC knife if one is not living in the US. There are many handicaps for overseas buyers to score a GEC, whether it is a connection speed or a shop policy or something else...

When I have things to give away,I give them to people I know or like,who speak to me.
