Prospective Beckerheads...Please introduce yourself

Hi all,
My name is Doug. I have hung around this forum for years, but only recently put my app in for official BeckerHead status. Since I live alone, this is my community of friends to hang with (and what a great and crazy bunch too).
Cheers

I need to get out and use 'em more and try out the new 2 but here's my only BK photos for now.

Welcome guys! Good to see a lot of new faces around with the new knife realeases from BK&T.

Hey BaldingEagle, what part of ND are you from? My grandparents lived there until recently and I've always been somewhat interested in actually living there.

I am stationed at Minot AFB, kinda north central part of the state. Near the Canadian border.

Hello all. I'm trying as hard as I can to resist the Beckers but unfortunately I am failing miserably. I have added a BK17, BK15 and a BK2 in less than a month. :-)

As others have mentioned, I love the practical designs and the excellent steel.

I've started playing with mods to the grivory handles, tweener sheeths, and other sundry endeavors. I'm really hoping to get some pics in the next day or so.

Great bunch here.

Charlie

Still on the road to becoming a Beckerhead. I've been into knives since I was young and I'll be 49 in June. Been through many folders, slipjoints, and now have developed an addiction to Beckers! Only have a BK9 and BK15 but I dropped the hint to my wife for a BK2 for our anniversary.

Hi everybody,
My name is Richard and I'm a Beckerholic. It all started innocently enough. I was goofing around on the web and found this bladeforums place to hang out. I stopped in at the Becker sub-forum occasionally at first then it was 2 or 3 times a week. Now it's pretty much every day. Sometimes several times a day.
My first Becker was a modded BK-7. It looks like a BK-10 and is totally awesome. Then came the real thing, a BK-10 Limited Edition. And then of course, the all mighty BK-2.

Seriously I am very thankful for this community and all of the great people that are a part of it. From the mods to the newest of the newbies - a solid group of genuinely good folks.
I've tried to explain it to others but when I start talking about people giving away knives or scales or just great advise on how to mod your own stuff. I get questions like "what's the catch" or "ya right, no one does anything for free".
Thanks to everyone who is a part of this sub-forum.

Even worse, my family is back at Mountain Home ID........I'm "remote" in Minot. I felt less remote when I was at Kunsan!

Hey guys, my name is dude pal and having just recently discovered a wild BK2, I'm going to just accept my future addiction. I plan on picking up a tweener, an Eskabar, and something big. One day I'll apply to be a Beckerhead, might take me awhile. Cheers! DP

Welcome guys, I think you will find that this is fun place to hang out.

If you are interested in how some of the other guys addictions started take a look at this thread I started a while back where I asked people to tell their Becker Story
