hi guys my name is JD, i am also new to this bladeforum. i make custom kydex sheaths with leather attachments and tek lok, molle clip, etc.. attachments. i would like to be in your group. i own almost all of the becker bk series knives. i have bk2, bk3, bk4, bk5, bk7, bk9, kbbk 15, kbbk16 and the kbbk17. i have a webstore that i am currently revamping with up dated pictures and getting rid of the paracord section. started with the paracord section of my web site and it turn into a custom sheath making site. i got into becker knives cause they just felt good in the hand and i am left handed and after trying to chase down a left handed sheath with no luck, i desided to make my own, i loved making my sheath that i desided to make them for everybody. i if you are intrested drop me a line. 546700_224218077694032_100003175240183_402550_450978283_n.jpg

Hey Guys i'm a prospect from way up here in Toronto, Canada, iv'e got a BK2 and BK16, not quite sure the requirements but you seem like a good bunch to be associated with so what kind of hoops do i have to jump through?

I would like to be a beckerhead someday, but I read a lot more than I post so it may take me a while. I figure it will mean more that way, rather than posting a bunch just to try to get it quicker. I am the proud owner of a BK-2, BK-14, BK-17 and BK-9, purchased in that order. I think a 7 is my next purchase, followed by a remora and a then maybe a 16.

Hello everyone! I have made my introduction some time ago and it felt good to being to exchange thoughts with all of you. Being a beckerhead sure looks like fun and although I may not be able to participate in most of its exclusive activities I still think that I would still like to be a part of it. This place has been a daily source of inspiration, boatloads of information, and many forms of humor! :p :D And hopefully in due time I can contribute to this subforums collective knowledge and wisdom

What's up guys and girls, I've been hanging around here for a little while now and have enjoyed all of the great content and good peeps. I currently have a BK2 and a BK16. I am going to get the 4 next then probably the 17 and 14. I am currently working on some wood scales for both the 2 and 16 and just finished an etch job on my 2. I will post pics in the morning. Thanks for the warm welcome from everyone and I look forward to becoming a Beckerhead.

Hi. I'm Kakefat :) . I've been lurking around for a year or so, but haven’t been a very active poster. I currently own a BK7 and a BK11, both with micarta handles. I used to own a BK9 too, but I gave it to a friend. Becoming a Beckerhead isn't something that is really important to me, so I won't spam the forum in order to get the requirements. However, when the time comes I will sign up ;)

Now if you'll excuse me, the weather outside is beautiful and I need to bring my BK11 to the mountains :D

My name is Mike. I have an Outdoor Review site and vids on youtube. I am a Beckerholic. I don't qualify to be a Beckerhead yet! I have purchased several BK2s and basically have gotten so used to it that it is the only knife I need to do all tasks a knife should do!

I'm Brian and I've carried a becker necker for a long, long time now. My field knives have always been Ka-Bars since my youth. Right now I'm torn between ordering a Bk16 or Bk9. I'll probably just pull the trigger on both. I've got a ton of posts and threads til I can apply for beckerhead status...so until then I'll just keep chiming in when I can.

I'm JES600. I didn't wanna lurk on bladeforums.com too long, specifically this sub-forum, because I learn so much I felt it best to register. I purchased a BK-11 a couple months ago and I love it. After that I had to get my "dream folder", a Spyderco Endura with the Emerson opening feature. Now I'm debating between a BK-2 and a BK-7 as my next purchase. Thanks for all of the great info on these impressive knives!

Edited for iPhone tomfoolery:
Go with the BK2. Amazing knife. Not much it can't do. Just got mine a couple of weeks ago and I love it.

Hey I'm Noé. I've been surfing this sub-forum for quite some time, but I've never really had the time to join up and make a post. I've had my BK-2, BK-7, and BK-13 for quite some time and I've got my fair share of use out of them. I recently got my BK-17 and I'm loving the mod possibilities with the stock sheath. I'm stationed out here in Mountain Home AFB... although sadly the mountains are a couple hours away. I'm originally from the Seattle area and I grew up camping/hiking in the woods / at the ocean. I'm looking forward to becoming a bit more active with this amazing group. Maybe someday I'll be able to join you all at one of those awesome gatherings! I'll get some pictures up of my gear and BoB's soon.

Hi everyone :-) I'm new on this forum so i just wanted to say hi and nice to be here. I'm a Norwegian Veteran that spend a lot of time in the bush... and i have 3 better half's.. :-) The one i share the bed and life with, and BK-2 and now BK-16 that is my other better halfs. :-) ...and as Ethan Becker said.. The BK-16 is the knife i've been waiting for since i was 14... i just did not know it at the time. The BK-2 is my partner..and i know it will be there to cover my needs if the norwegian (not so friendly  ) nature show its ugly side. (Shelter, wood...you name it.. Even digging with it..) The BK-16 well.. that is the friend you do everything else with. :-) Mods: Home made/hand made leather sheath for the BK-2, New grips.. changed angle on edge, sharpened up with 1500 as the finest. BK-16 Has got'n a micarta grip..and sharpened to the point where it's scary. So to be a good boy/man ...i'll stop there.. that way you wont get boored.

Stay safe everyone.. and stay well.

Now i'll spend the next 7 months trying to read what it say in the forum. I'll be back after that.. :-P He he

New since post: a new BK-16 is adopted in to the familly.

Welcome to all those that just made their first, or some of their first posts in the BK&T sub-forum, stay a while, buy more Beckers, mod them, open a few beers or cream sodas with them, and post some pics. We like pics. And videos are even better!

*Disclaimer: to open an alcoholic beverage with a BK&T knife you must be of legal age in your neck of the woods, or else it will end up tasting like bad cream soda and you will wake up naked, in a tree, with honey covering your body from head to toe.*

Hey, I was at Mountain Home AFB. I'm "remote" at Minot, but my wife and son are still at Moutain home. How's the whistle pig population? And are you doing your part to decrease it?
Cheers

Well it's been warming up and now they're EVERYWHERE again. And you bet I am! My shop has a camping trip/cook out coming up and there's a contest on who can bring back the most tails. Now I believe in not killing something unless you have to or you're going to utilize it... but I'll make an exception for anything that can be classified as vermin. I have a buddy out there at Minot... He absolutely hates it! I think you just need to make the best out of any situation. Especially when it comes to getting stationed out in the middle of no-where!

Hi I'm Devon Kibby (Dkibb) and I'm addicted to Becker knives. It started with the bk2 and its only gotten worse after the bk11 and bk9.After i finished my army training i took up survival preparedness as a new hobby, some days i think of just getting in my car and driving to the back country to start a new life as a bush hermit(after i acquire the entire Becker arsenal of course:D ). I think this problem may continue to get worse.but Ive come to terms with it.
