Proto Pics Of The BussMuk . . . !!!!!!

SWEET!!!!!!!!!

I think the two sizes are really the best way to go, one for heavier tasks (making the fire) and one for lighter duties (making the food).

I can't wait to see the new handles! I remember a Raptor (?) pattern on the "E Handles", I'm picturing something similar. But, I am hoping it follows the flow/ shape of a stag handle. Thin in the front and fat in the back, if that makes sense...

You know I want one, boss. But I really would prefer it with a Warden handle rather than the EDC shape.

Just wanted to get it down on record that this was what I had been hoping for, even more than just the GW handles.

Its a weird blade profile that really grows on you! The Nessie is a very handy knife. From the smaller Fiddleback EDC sizes, ideal for slicing and food prep, to the Monster Nessies ala Dan Koster, which are amazing choppers. A matched set of these would cover ALOT of needs in game processing, from skinning and cleaning to quartering. They also make suprisingly good woods knives.

I LOVE your design on this one, and I hope I am lucky enough to score a set of em. Nice Work!!!

Can someone explain the benefits of this blade shape?

It is made of INFI and as such attracts INFIholics ... :D

But on the serious note, I think it would excel in the kitchen for vegetables and anything that needs chopping. Since I do not hunt it would not be useful in that aspect to me at least.

Keep dreaming. Has the big Hog ever come out with a blade after the Dogs already had their paws on it?

I dono, we MIGHT see one of these. Jerry did show the design first. I wouldnt be suprised if he just released it a while from now, there have been a few different designs as of late that could come this year. If he released the muk in the summer it would be just in time for us hunters in the fall.

Judging by most of what has come out of the Busse shop the last few years, doesn't seem that the needs of hunters are of much concern......

Well the companys name IS Bussecombat:p

They dont seem to make many hunter focused knives, but many knives they make work for hunting needs. Like the Boney AD, I like it as a field dressing knife.
