Proto Pics Of The BussMuk . . . !!!!!!

Make it .125 or even skinnier with a full flat grind, and I would be powerless to resist it :D
Yup, or even thinner would be impossible to resist. Also, canvas micarta for sure. Green Linen and Tiger Hide!! Satin, and THIN!! .110 would be INSANE on that thing!!

I can certainly appreciate it, it's a Busse - it's gorgeous, but fortunately for my wallet I'm not a Nessmuk fan for users.

I'm holding out for the Busse bushcraft knife - aka Bussecraft knife??? (and a CG SFNO)

I like the curved blade. It looks like kitchen knife mix with a meat cleaver at first glance. Then you think how well it would chop wood, and with the heavy point and shape of the blade, it should be a great thrower too. A real all duty knife.

Looks good Boss. (Just please give us some options besides that pumpkin scale material ;) :))

Now who can tell the rest of us uniformed hogs --- what's the history/story/theory behind the nessmuk blade (and how does the scandi-grind fit in too.)

What do you see as the "pros and cons" of this style over a similiarly sized knife in a traditional drop-point blade style???

Randucci beat me to the punch! The first thing I thought of when I saw the proto was excactly what he said! Kitchen knife potential !! Great minds think alike:D For this one, I hope thin is in

Jerry, that thing is BEAUTIFUL! I love it and I am not a huge nessmuk guy. ONE THING that I would like to see changed is moving the index finger are forward or reducing the choil/ricasso/Talon Hole are to Game Warden dimensions or less. PLEASE, PLEASE, PRETTY PLEASE.

I want to be able to hold the handle and be close to the working edge. I suppose a half way compromise would be to move the Talon Hole forward and up and then bringing the choil back toward the handle some.

In any case, it is an amazing, cool design. You never cease to amaze Jerry
