Pulling the trigger on a an order, kinda having regrets...

On a scale of 1 to 10... 1 being a true disappointment, 10 being better than I could have ever imagined.... a solid 8 is what I give this knife. Very pleased, indeed. As for value.... this knife is a great deal, imo. Don't know if they will all be this nice, but... this one certainly is, a very nice specimen that represents a US made Utica Cutlery fix blade knife in a very nice way. My concerns have been soundly trumped by receiving this knife :-)

It looks as if the ad copy photo is an accurate representation of what customers receive. I'd be proud to have one like it in my Accumulation.

Congrats on the new knife!

Next on your list?

Maybe some customs next?

Did you know there was such thing as a drop point hunter Old Timer? (Good luck finding one)

I'm happy you're in for the good surprise !!! A very nice classic pattern with a very clean finish. Beautiful knife... Urges you to go cutting beef, onions and peppers for a 40 people chili ! Enjoy !

Looks like a great little fixed blade in 1095. I looked them up and they also come in 420 stainless.

Hope it holds an edge well. Let us know how it cuts. You have plans for this one?

Looks great. I'm glad your fears were unfounded. Now go out and kill a large ruminant ungulate and skin it.

Thanks :-)

I was wondering in which display case to put it in.... and after a little moving around in this display, she was placed here. Though my recent purchases include the fixed bladed Queen shown in this display, this Utica is nicer overall. Yup, really am happy with this Utica fixed blade knife :-)

For me, one of the things that drew me in on this knife, were the pics I seen online showing the jigged bone. I really hoped for something similar to those pics. With bone handles, I know one just does not know until one gets in hand what one will get... but, this one proved NICE! :-)

That is really nice, and for $51?
Isn't it great when something works out?
Good goin.
Thanks again, buddy :-) I did a little searching online after I ordered it, could not find a better deal than the one I got. It was something like $45 for the knife, and about $6 shipping. $51 total was a downright great deal! :-)

Jimmy, do you always buy knives for your displays? I'm just curious because I only buy knives to use them, and don't display any. The displays look nice but I was wondering if you ever take the odd one out to carry and use it? For instance.....

...this sounds like a great idea and the Utica looks perfect for it!

I'd love to know the answers to the questions above.
:)
