Purple! Because Ice cream has no bones!

Reminds me of one of the two things my Grandpa told me when I got my first job... "Remember that nobody owes you nothing" (the other was "Work harder than the guy next to you").
 
We very rarely go to the movie theater but we went and watched the new Jurassic Park movie last night. I'm not a big fan but the kids like to watch them. Well over two hours long, I tried to take a nap but Gigantododecamegasaurus's kept waking me up. The kids enjoyed it so that was good enough for me.

Was gonna take everyone fishing this morning but it sounds like the road to my favorite spot is a mud run. We've had some decent rain lately. I think I'm getting taken out to breakfast but I'm not supposed to know that yet. Hope everyone has a good Father's Day. Give them kids a big squeeze.

Happy Father's Day to all. Went and saw the Top Gun Fri evening. Been a long time since we'd gone to the theater, years. Really enjoyed it.

I heard it was really good, I'll have to watch it. I always thought were it not for the jet scenes in the first one it was a chick flick😆

I think I've been to the movies 4 times in the last 15 years and three of those were in the last 5 years for kids movies. Probably for the same reason I don't watch sports, sittin for that long drives me nuts unless it's in peace and quiet.

I was delivering furniture to a store in Fallon NV last week. The owner was talking about some ancient wingback chairs and a sofa that he had gotten from a customer when they delivered the new stuff.
He described the sofa pattern as "grammaflage". Somehow I knew exactly the pattern he was talking about.

Saw James Caan died recently. "Thief" is one of my favorite movies. If you have the time and can stand gritty early 80's movies it's an awesome flick.

He was great in "Way of the Gun" too. "The only thing you can assume about a broken down old man.... is that he's a survivor".
 
Stealth project is getting presented to it's owner tonight. I'll post pictures afterwards or in the morning.

Over 65 in Montana, too damn hot. 82 right now. Havin hot flashes, maybe I have manopause 😆
 
Circling a bit back to "hats". It's going to potentially be a year+ wait for my locally made custom hat - I guess supply chain issues have even impacted the fur industry. Well, while I wait, I still wanted a hat so my wife found some hatmaker (in Greece of all places) who makes custom hats out of European Hare fur. The wait time and cost is a fraction of what my local maker is providing me so I figured, "What the hell" and I sent in my measurements and order.

Last week, I got the new lid in and it fit perfectly. It will be a nice hat in the interim while I wait for the other and it will be one I won't be so afraid to get dirty with everyday wear.

I went to go visit my nephew and his mother last night to check in and help her with some handyman chores. You can see the hat in the pic below - (I look pretty haggard but the hat looks nice and my nephew is really cute).

The horn? Boating (you’re required an audible warning), or sporting events, with the exceptions of golf and tennis. I’m sure you’d be escorted out of a chess tournament.😆
