Purple! Because Ice cream has no bones!

Grow that back out, you got some hair boy! I'd grow mine out but I'm not far away from this...

You still sleeping? 😁🐂 🔔
No rest for the wicked! Off to the Jay Oh Bee, got a lot if work done today in the shop. The wife and kids broke in the new stamps we got while I worked on knives, the banging away in the leather room was music to my ears.

My boy stole the pillow and slept with it last night. Gotta get some pictures and I'll post up a thread. The care packages you guys send mean the world to me.

Last night meets this morning

Your post gave me a flashback of my experience at the Chinese Buffet last week in Billings. Reposted from another subforum:

The other day while eating in a very crowded chinese buffet, two older ladies came up to our table and asked "Can we borrow your body for a moment"? My instinct was to respond with, 'last time I asked a stranger that I got slapped', but instead I obliged. They said their friend needed help up to get out of her chair. Oh of course says I and follow them to their table.

We walk over to their table and lo and behild an elderly woman, probably in her 70's with two canes leaning against the table is giving me the puppy dog eyes. She puts her hands up and I pull to help her up. Not happening, I was about to lose my balance. This woman had to be over 350 pounds, humongous. I quickly realize my efforts were futile, reached down, grab her in a bear hug under her arms (lift with your legs John, you can do this) and heave her up like a gigantic sack of potatoes. The poor lady said "My Lord I have GOT to stop coming to the buffet". The other ladies go on and on about how they want a hug too and as I look around I realize the whole restaurant has been watching the spectacle unfold.

The wife said it happened fast but 'every woman in the place is now in love with you'. I told her to get the kids out of here and I'd try to find me a rich old sugarmomma.

The moral of the story is to claim to have a bad back when asked for help because you never know when there's an enormous woman around the corner that needs heaved.

I’m getting tired of all the rainy damp weekends we been having Im trying to get some yard work done.

You and me both. Makes sense since we are barely a hop, skip, and a jump apart.

I have a veritable jungle to tackle and my blackberry berm is starting to obscure my creek views.... Have half a mind to just say, "f it", throw on my hat and just git er done.

this has been one of the best cars I have had. I’m hoping to get another 25K before it goes to McKayla for her first car. She not to happy about getting it as she wants her mom’s SUV.

Got ya on there.

(Anyone know what movie that's from? I don't recognize it, looks like a discount Tom Selleck)

Heartland

My daughter digs that show - has watched it through a couple of times.

^from the Newsletter thread

So my daughter fell in love with that Heartland show and we got her the first 5 books from the series for her 9th birthday a couple of days ago. She started the first book yesterday and has read over 100 pages as of this morning. The power of a meme!

That's pretty cool John.
With 26 books in the series that should keep her busy for a while! I used to read a lot but don't have much time for it anymore. I started reading the Sharpe series by Bernard Cromwell, they're great if you like historical based books. I'm on the third of the series but haven't picked it up in a while.

I love history, may have to check them out. Since I'm retired I might just have some time. ;)

They're really good, not at all dry. Sharpe's Tiger is the first, takes place in India around 1800. Based around the Napoleonic wars.
