Diet and exercise are what I'm all about right now. This achy back isn't helping but I'll fight through it.Im in a bout the same boat as Mack I'm usually 140's/80's but if I get around to some fairly serious diet and exercise it goes down to 120's/70's.
I'm going for a cortisone injection in my lower back on the 8th of this month. I hope it gets rid of the pain.Diet and exercise are what I'm all about right now. This achy back isn't helping but I'll fight through it.

Quick update since things have been too quiet lately. We're on the short road to Redmeadow being a full time gig, late next summer is the plan.
With that in mind I'm focusing my efforts on the long game. I've made a prototype for a new design, the knife is done and I'm working on a sheath. I'll reveal it when everything's complete. It's 8 1/2" overall length with a 4.5" edge. As far as Cowbells go, I have 160 moving along in different stages of the process.
My goal is to have those those two designs as consistent offerings with everything else being individual knives (random ideas), small runs, belts, and random leatherwork. I wanted everyone to know where my focus is and that I have 't fallen off a cliff or hit some kind of wall. A new shop is in the idea/dream phase right now as well, that would make for a nice retirement gift to myself wouldn't it!!
I had that very same thought, but I think I only want to go part time in retirement, but a new shop to start this spring is in the works.Quick update since things have been too quiet lately. We're on the short road to Redmeadow being a full time gig, late next summer is the plan.

Hmmm...she doesn't really look stacked
That's awesome John! Just poking the bull a little. Good to hear from you man. You and the fam have a good ThanksgivingI've got just over 160 Cowbells thermal cycled and profiled. 90 Drops, 20 each of Spear, Zulu, and Wharncliffe, and a dozen Wild Cards. A couple dozen of those have the bevels ground and are heat treated, mostly drops.
I'm currently finishing shaping the handles on a Maroon Linen Spear, Blue Linen Drop, Bone & White Zulu, and an Ivroy G10 Wharncliffe. I'll be building sheaths for those this week and will be putting them up in the Newsletter.
That sale will fund a much needed shop order of abrasives etc that will let me get that entire lot ground and ready for HT. That will give me a good base of close to completed Cowbells and will open up time to work on bigger projects like stacked leather. Have no fear, Redmeadow is at a steady boil.
