Purple! Because Ice cream has no bones!

Thanks Dylan, it was really interesting, any color you made the oval looked awesome. Especially light blue or orange. Being partial to maroon I went with that.

The QR codes work for me off a computer screen. If anyones on a desktop try them out with your phone and let me know if they work.
Card design looks great. Both QR codes work as expected on iPhone!

The cards are very cool, almost a little artistic and old style that catch the eye. So maybe the retro look is different, but with the QR code adds modernity. Just wanted to use a word like Modernity in a sentence. I be educated.i think there was a sketch on In Living Color with the Wayan brothers where he got a dictionary and just used words randomly.
Business cards are either boring or ridiculous, either plain text or skulls & flames lol. Wanted to go with something interesting and classic, for some reason vertical designs make more sense to me than horizontal.

In Living Color was hilarious, Oswald Bates was quite the articulamator of verbatological magnamanosity 😆

Thanks and good to know, thanks for testing that out!

Anyone ever heard of "Ikigai"? Apparently it's a Japanese method for finding "joy and purpose" "reason for being" or "happiness in being busy".

I came across this diagram:
ikigai_japanese_secret_to_a_joyful_life_pic.png

And found it rather easy to fill out 🤣

Thought you guys might get a kick out that.

Here's some context that may be interesting to some and dry to others.

1. Deciphering Ikigai:
- Ikigai, often translated as "a reason for being," embodies the essence of finding joy and purpose in everyday life.

2. The 80 Percent Rule:
- Contrary to the pursuit of perfection, Ikigai emphasizes the principle of aiming for 80 percent completeness rather than exhausting oneself in the pursuit of unattainable perfection.

3. Embracing Imperfection:
- Recognizing that perfection is an illusion, Ikigai encourages embracing imperfections and focusing on progress rather than flawless outcomes.

4. Finding Balance:
- Striking a balance between ambition and contentment, Ikigai advocates for enjoying the journey while striving for improvement.

5. Cultivating Satisfaction:
- By aligning passions, talents, and contributions, Ikigai fosters a sense of fulfillment that transcends societal expectations of success.

6. Living Authentically:

- Embracing one's true self and honoring personal values are central tenets of Ikigai, empowering individuals to lead authentic and meaningful lives.

Those one on the bench have been processed into scales! Ya thought I was gonna go somewhere else with this didn't ya?

Looks like a nice place to hang out with a beer in your hand.
Yes sir it is. Got tunes and a beer fridge. Robert The Bruce guards the beer fridge!

Enjoying old episodes of Daniel Boone with Fess Parker, not really a western but on the frontier, so the action is good. I like how Fess Parker seemed to have a cool head on his shoulders and was plain spoken.

Question, just curious, would a long hunter around mid to late 1700s have carried a knife that looked like a small cowboy Bowie even though the Bowie craze didn’t start until after the sandbar fight with Bowie? Shorter than a rifleman’s knife, maybe a trade knife, with a clip or spear point. I have a friend who is a civil war re-enactor but he has been putting together a long hunter’s outfit, I gave him some old Jeff White trade knives which will be period appropriate, but I have a small Bowie by Tim Ridge I wanted to give him, but it may not be period correct. i guess there were clip point knives back that far, but more like Mediterranean dirks I suppose.

Met Fess Parker once. I was pretty young, 14ish I'd guess. He and his son were at a restaurant in Santa Maria. He had a cattle ranch there just outside of town. In fact the lady that owned the ranch he was leasing was a good family friend. They'd been working on the ranch and were pretty dirty and were eating dinner. We were there at the same restaurant, a Howard Johnson's, believe it or not, for my little brother's birthday. My mom, a Princess Grace doppelgänger went over and said "You are Daniel Boone." He said: "Yes ma'am and Davy Crockett too!" After they finished eating and on their way out, they came over to our table and introduced themselves to us. He was absolutely huge! He signed a dollar bill and gave it to my brother as a birthday gift.

Out standing I like that! Did ya know that Scotland's other National Drink is Iron Brew?
No I didn’t. Any pics of a label or logo? I did a little looking, it is a carbonated beverage, a soft drink. They had to change the name to Irn-Bru.
