Purple! Because Ice cream has no bones!

Went to a swap meet today and found some more I couldn't pass up. Most are Colonial or Imperial. The Barlow in the top left says Naugatuck Cutlery...not a lot of info on it yet but seems to be pretty old. I do not collect knives ...(I keep telling myself that) I just tell the wife they are too good of a deal to pass up!!

Uuhhhmmm, could you not find any Barlows??? 🤣

J/K nice haul and came home with quite the load!

I was starting to think I had a problem so I left a few Barlow's behind lol. It was rough but I already had one like them so they made it easier.
🤣

Is that an old Northfield Barlow in bone on the top left? Looks like a nice one!

Also really cool tools on the right? Some kind of sailors tool or rope workers?

That one says Naugatuck Cutlery on it. I'm ask about it over in AllAboutPocketKnives. It a Connecticut com and I think late 1800s but not 100% sure. Definitely seen better days but the bone is really aged nice.

Those others are sailor knives...they gave a Marlin spike, blade and a can opener. I think that style started in the 30s and was mass produced all over Europe.
