Push Dagger Style Prototypes . . . We Need Your Help!!! . . . Pick Your Top 3!!!

Push daggers are illegal in my juristictionm but 9 and 8 are not daggers. :-)
I'm more than willing to bet in your state a push *knife* in any configuration is illegal.

I'll bet the double edge differentiation matters very little with this style knife. Usually, either your state is okay with them all, or none.

I've personally never seen a push knife law with any leeway or loopholes, but I've also only lived in like 16 (iirc) states. So there very well may be one.

Bought the RMJ version a while back since I didn’t have a Busse option at the time. From what I see the Talon holes wouldn’t be an issue. And a bit longer blade than the RMJ is a plus. Photo looks skewed put the tip is at the 1” mark. So the blade is right at 3.5”. So modify #2 with added Talon holes is a Win!

Here is the Buy Brown Bird
I designed and made these 13 or 15 years ago
thought it was a good design for me anyhow
Made them out of Titanium
I also Made Aluminum trainers and even some g-10 versions
I am a much better sheath maker than knife maker :)
Just saw this. That's not a bad design at all. That thing paragon put out a while back looks pretty much just like it. I'd give that a shot at carry. Pretty cool man.. not gona lie.

Photos from last May -- showing how I've been limited to non-Busse Push Daggers (Snif, Snif!)

Yet what can also be seen is the Asymmetrical Hold, with the Blade Stems protruding from between the Index & Middle Fingers for stronger support as is my custom.

2nd Photo shows both those whole blades including handles without my hands in the way of the view, with a measuring tape for sizing. There is Enough room on the handles for this type of grip for Three fingers; rather than all Four provided in the "standard" but dangerous Two fingers per side grip.

The Black Trainer Model is Quite Sharp at the Reinforced Point while the edge will certainly pass the paper test. The material is Grivory & the handles are made of the same Rubber grip for each, for a fairly identical feel between Trainer & Steel Models, which is a thoughtful design for a Trainer.
I carry both. That way, I can train with both, for Either Hand (or using them simultaneously.)
But Always with my ASYM~ Grip...

I've Got another pair of pics to come of a Quite Innovative Knife Design with Punch or Push Knife configuration: Clearly in Mind... I've Never seen a Folding Punch Knife or Push Dagger before this one. Stay Tuned...

This is of Rike manufacture. Innovative, to say the least.
Its cost reflects that innovation, I learned quickly.
I didn't screenshot capture the Fully Closed position, but we all know what a closed folding pocket knife looks like...
It is their "Forever" model; which for my budget, reflects how long it would take to pay off the purchase price.

Here is the position for the "Standard" Open single-bladed folding knife. Note the sharpened spine-edge near its tip:

Then, here is its jaw-dropping "Punch Position..."
Notice its Asymmetrical Design to allow for "more fingers" on its Blade side compared to its Spine side: The ASYM~ Grip.
I believe the pinky finger will sit nicely on the handle ramp, as mine sits just fine on the post's above photographed shot:

Now we see the Value of that Sharpened Spine Edge near the Tip...!
Not Quite a Double-Edged Blade, but effective in Either Piercing or Slashing motions, & Snap Cuts or Draw Cuts.

Nice of them to include a special 3-Tine Screw-em-up-driver for those All-important personal calibration adjustments.

There is a GIF video out there showing the motions from Fully Closed to Open to Open Punch Position.
I only captured the static shots.
Extra Credit to Any who find the "Lil Video" for the changing positions motions.
Me? I'm Old School... Photos work fine.

Sliante! 🍻

Based on this...☝️☝️☝️

I pick this... 👇👇👇

I change my vote to this, and 11...put the bar in the same spot for 11...between index and middle finger.
