I agree, i've seen this in other forums (not here). I go through stages throughout the year where i carry/want a traditional and post here. I bought the last Canal street knife the forum had made (was that 2016ish?) and loved it. I've been looking for a barlow as of last month or the one before lol. So this hit at the perfect time. I just hope i make it!
 
Just do a search within the Trad forum based on your username. The search results will show 20 posts per page. So if you have 4 pages of results then you're definitely good. If 3 pages, you'll need to check the 3rd page to see if there's at least 10 posts.
 
A potential solution to this post padding fiasco for the forum knife would be to require a certain number of posts by a certain date prior to the sale being announced. It may require the mods to verify the information though.
 
This is my first time participating in a forum knife. Just out of curiosity how has this differed from years past in terms of the chaos?
 
well, crap..... I ordered mine about 2.5 hours ago, and have not received any confirmation from GSJ's..... I got my paypal email, saying I had made a payment.... I entered my username in "special instructions", but it doesn't show up on my paypal page.... how do I email Barry to make sure he got my username? I can't find an email for him, because I cannot access his page here at work, with the censoring they do...

Got my order in this morning and I am excited for my first Forum Knife, thank you waynorth waynorth and gunstockjack gunstockjack .
I remember ordering one of my first GEC knives back in 2014, the two-blade ez open 15 Scout. And it had been sitting on the shelf for at least six months. Things sure are different now.

I haven't received mine from GSJ either, but Barry did post yesterday to say not to worry and that if your BF name isn't there you'll still good to go.

You know, I don't usually do this, but I took the time and went through your posts just now. Clearly you are a knife lover, modern and otherwise. I saw where you were asking legit questions about cover materials for a GEC knife, and participated in the 2015 forum knife, and you also like 110's. I also recall that you messaged me some time back asking about getting some work done, which I was unfortunately not able to assist with due to backlog. On top of that, you've been on the forum since 2008 (maybe a paid membership is in order?). You also haven't spent all your time on the exchange just buying things up. I think you are the type of member that BF appreciates. You contribute to the discussion and get involved. I get the feeling that many of the people that are asking if they qualify already know the answer to their question.
