Quality Slip Joint and Lock back ??

I would be interested in a slippie or lockback in that price range, if it had a quality handle material and BG42 or CPM154 blade. Its definately my highest end price, but if it had all I wanted I would go to the lengths needed to get one.

Are you considering multiple frame styles, or just one? I'd be very interested to learn more about this venture.

I think there is probably a good market for this. The Case Tony Bose knives seem to be doing well and they are at the top end of your given scale.

For me, I would be interested in seeing some of the really traditional patterns made with top quality steel and workmanship. Stainless liners and bolsters are a plus too.

Your initial question was "How much interest is there in superb knifes of unique design and near flawless fit and finish in the $200 - $300 range?"

Based only on my ownership of your Featherlite knife, taking into consideration your use of ATS-34, fit and finish, and value to price ratio I would be extremely interested in your proposed offering.

I am much more interested in lockable blades encased in a utilitarian package. The word "unique" sets me back a bit as I have never been into exotic knives of any sort but do like classy looking every day users.

Good luck with this project and let me know when and where to get in line.

As a collector of slip joints I too would be interested.

Like shaldag, I have some of the Queen/Burk colabs as well as all of the Case/Bose series, so it would not be much of a reach to add other fine ones.

What we talked about on the phone the other day got me very excited A.G. I am going to jump on one of the first ones in buffalo horn if its the one you you spoke of that Tony did for himself. If I can get the wife to take the hint and it comes out around my B-day or some other occasion I may make even make an attempt for a second one in some other handle.
