Queen Cutlery quality

I do not think I am being fussy or unreasonable. I want to send the knives I purchased to the individuals claiming we are being "fussy". This would change your mind. I don't expect perfection, but I do expect a knife I can use and not just look at. I wish I never started this thread. Causing a bunch of drama.

Haha, that's partially why I asked that the thread I started asking for a good contact at queen be closed.

I don't like the impression that I've been exaggerating or lying. I have photos to prove the issues I had with my Queen knives and which at the time I shared on another forum. 3 knives, none even close to as good as a Case Sodbuster Jr. I'm not buying the S&M because a dealer honestly told me about the issues the the specific pattern, not just the one I wanted, had. That dealer has me as a customer for life due to their honesty. So that is Queen and S&M both represented. Now, in 2015. I'm not buying or caring for names and if a Chinese manufacturer was to bring out a model which met my needs and had the build quality, I'd jump without a thought. The Queen knives from all reports and my experience do not deserve to represent US manufacturing superiority to the extent of commanding the prices that they do. I am also confused as to the sob story of trying to turn things around. I manage a large studio for a museum with plenty employees. If there is a problem with the quality control of our work I do the following. Immediately stop everything. Find out where the issue is, have a meeting with the staff, implement new protocols, fix the problem. Only then restart work. In Queen's case, if your worker doesn't know how to install a spring without it being proud when the blade is open, either retrain them or replace them. Ditto the individual responsible for the blade play and rubbing, etc. GEC got up and running from zero in a very short time with a quality item with quality consistency, with new equipment and new workers. Queen can do the same. I have to be frank, if the amount of Queen knives talked about just in this tiny corner of the world, never mind those bought by those who don't know the difference, leave the shop with a lack of quality control then their quality control has failed. Period. If after this time it is still failing then it's from lack of trying. They can say all they want but I do not see why this should be an issue which could take more than a couple of months to solve and if they continue to sell substandard goods during this time for the same inflated prices, it's a disservice to their customers who are paying very real money.
