Queen, S&M, and related brands pic thread

Their D2 production knives were some of their best in F&F

Here's a WCSB Dogleg Jack. No gaps, no play, great W&T, super in the hand.

I'd have to agree with that 100% Will. Here's mine! IMG_2093.JPG

I’ve got a queen #44 hunter in route and a File&Wire Series #6 Edition #5: #042104 Gunstock Jack Qt.
Excited for both and for some reason really had the desire to add a few to my collection like never before .
Fingers crossed :)

redsparrow redsparrow You may have showed a Grail Knife there, almost:D Very desirable but a Zebra 26 Stockman is what's bothering me:cool:

Thanks, Will
Thanks Will. I've been wanting to try a whittler for sometime now and I like Zebrawood. Finding both in one knife was nice... being made by Queen and in D2 was double icing on the cake! I don't see Zebrawood knives all that often anymore but I do hope that you find your grail knife, I'll certainly keep an eye open. Ya never know. :)

Did that come with a well ground blade? Thin at the edge?
She’s a little fat behind the edge but really not to bad . Actually both are going back only because they were a lot bigger and heavier then I thought . Both had really nice fit and finish though.

Both? If you want to sell them I might be interested. Send me a PM.

Yes both and thanks for the offer but there on the way back to the dealer for store credit as we speak actually just dropped them off .

Thanks !!
Super happy with the Stag and tried to capture it better but the lighting wasn’t the best .

Certainly a very fine example, only it's not actually Stag but ACSB Amber Carved Stag Bone I think you'll find. One of Queen's best handles mind. My Teardrop in it came with a very nice thin edge that's been quite easy to maintain.

Thanks, Will

Thanks for the info and much appreciated Sir :)

Thanks, the ACSB and earlier WCSB are my favourite D2 Queen knives, they are extremely well made and will last a long long time.

Regards, Will

I got a few Queen made knives today. Two hunters and a Pint Gunstock. The hunters I got at an incredible price and I'm very happy with them at the price I paid. One came with an off center blade and a little play (which I fixed) and I think the nicer covers of the two so I made it my user. The other also has great covers but has no play and is centered well, but is a little less smooth so I'm going to keep it as a backup. The Pint Gunstock is a good looking knife, but more on it after these pictures.

The Stag Pint Gunstock has some issues. The dealer said he hand picked it, and I am definitely not questioning that or his service as I've gotten great service / communication / shipping / deals from them and will definitely continue to buy from them. However, it has some pretty big gaps and a noticeably sunken spring, but these are both aesthetic issues. I am more worried about the fact that the main blade nail nick is so shallow it's difficult to open (along with a 7ish spring pull). I feel a bit ridiculous, but I recently resolved to not keep a knife if I don't like it out of the package and I can't see myself using or enjoying this knife. (this shallow nail nick is something I've seen on other Queen made knives also).

My question is, do you all think that this is a valid reason to ask for a return/refund from the dealer? If not, what about a partial refund and exchange for a different knife (ACSB Railsplitter)? Thanks for any input.

I think the shallow nick is a REAL problem, as you can hardly use the knife if you can't open it.
I would send it back for full credit, which they should do.
