Queens #99 Scout knife...

It's too bad that this knife has so many issues. Nobody has managed to surpass the AG Russell/Camillus Premium Scout since it was made, and that was manufactured 14 years ago.

What about the Prometheus DRB Limited Edition Scout knife? They are sold out and more is not coming (yes, I did ask them), but they look great, blade and tools are made of 154CM. Anyone has one?

Looks like a rebranded Queen to me.

To me too, but with nice steel and (hopefully) much better F&F it could have been worth it ...

After my last few experiences with Queen, I'm done with them until I hear that they've made improvements. I sooooo want to love their knives, given the excellent types of steel they've been using, but they keep disappointing me with their level or fit and finish. This is especially hard for me, given the fact that I collect US made scouts, and Queen seems to be the only American company currently trying to produce a full-size scout.

I am with you on this. Every Queen I have purchased over the last two years had to go back. I keep buying them as I really want them to be successful and love their steel and design. I really want one of their Scouts but I am reluctant to pull the trigger. Hopefully one day they will come around.
