I just read this whole thread. I've been gone all weekend and am disappointed at the direction it has taken. I apologize if my vote contributed to the confusion. I am a knife maker by most of your descriptions, but I think of myself as a collector too. When I first saw the poll I answered without realizing that collectors were not supposed to answer if they were also makers. My answer was as a longtime collector and had nothing to do with the knives I make. I don't have a problem with the limitations of the poll at all and think the information is good. I realize my mistake and if I could withdraw my vote, I would.
