Yeah, we're doing a youtube video of Toooj talking about the new polishing process at Blade. All the new 440C stainless blades will have that same mirror finish.

So shiny, you can pick your teeth in them. And did you notice, no underlying tool marks on the polish job?

ATTENTION COMPUTER GEEKS:

I need help. Here is the situation.

I took a backup on the current webhost, and had it store it via FTP on the new host. I am connected to my new host via SSH and I am attempting to move said backup file to the /home directory, but when I type it in, (Using PuTTY btw) mv filenameof_backup.tar.gz /home I get the following: cannot create regular file 'filenameof_backup.tar.gz' permission denied

Any ideas? I assume there is a setting somewhere in PuTTY I am missing somewheres. Also, first time messing with SSH, so take it easy on me.

In case this hasn't already been answered, I suspect the ID you are using to mv the file has inadequate permissions on /home and for what it's worth, I'd be inclined to include the trailing slash... mv filename /home/

You could open the permissions to /home (as the owner of that directory or as root)... chmod 777 /home should do it - then set them back to 700 or 555 or whatever they are now. Alternatively (probably better) you could ssh to the server as the same user that owns /home assuming you have that id/password.

If you can't get permission to that directory because someone else owns it and won't let you play there, you'll likely have to find another spot for your file.

edit: as has been mentioned, you should probably be moving stuff to /home/yourusername/ rather than just to /home/ . In either case though, include that trailing slash.
