So what are all of you guys up to this Sunday, anything interesting? I think the girlfriend and I are going to go for a little hike in a sculpture park.

Working on a sheath for this:

Need more thread and Barge cement. Darn those hobby stores for being closed on Sundays!

Very nice knife Crimsonfalcon! Your getting good. Looks like it was the right time for that orange name.

I have found today that getting really drunk, throwing up on a dog and waking up with a hangover at 1:30pm is no way to go through a Sunday...

haha that would end up in someones sig. It reminds me of the line from animal house. "fat drunk and stupid is no way to go through life son" hopefully it was someone elses dog so you didn't have to wash it hungover.

Amboyna burl is sweet, sweet stuff.

I'd love to do a 16 handled in amboyna burl. Or maybe some of that gorgeous california redwood burl...

We had hamburgers..then we played football and threw tomahawks. I just spent about 15 minutes trying to hit a football in midair with a tomahawk LOL

And here in a bit I need to make a few sheaths, try to get caught up.

I like that Damascus pattern Falcon.

Still up here in Springfield. Spending some time with the family. About to go to Grandma's house then home.

Quoted for truth. Silver lining? Washing a dog is easier than washing carpet.

True....i am too old to be doing that to myself....a friend brought over homemade wine and 'shine...not a good combo. We sat around a fire and shot the crap into the wee hours of the morning...I'm pretty sure todays urine could start a car.

for all you young guys..the guy on the right is indeed ''Whistler'' from the Blade movies...

Hey Beckerheads

Slammed with schoolwork right now (bio degree in the works) but still been managing to scrape some of the coating off my BK2. Nothing like processing firewood in the yard for a good break from the books :D
Now we just need that damn zombie apocalypse to kick in so I can get my "minty" BK9 mussed up.

Carry on with your bad selves, and have a good Sunday

Holy mother of lacerations... you think the knife cut pics are bad at BFC?
My longboard forum has a 98-page thread called "Hall of Meat." Chock full of nasty injury pics.
I'm going to need a full-leather riding suit.

It's funny how it takes a close-to-God experience for some of those chumps to wise up and use basic safety gear.

Video from Lake Erie last night.

Looks like a good time. I know I've eaten catfish before and caught them, but it was when I was pretty young, so I don't remember what they taste like. I should try and see if I can get out this summer and try catch some. Theres a river about 90 miles west of here that produces some monsters, so I'm guessing it would be pretty darn fun fishing. I'm used to catching walleye, northern, white bass, and perch, so it would be cool to try for something else.

Made it to the cabin in Kentucky. Really nice. Day didn't start so good, but all better now.

We stopped at the truck stop to get gas first thing, about 6 miles from home. Wife swiped her debit card, just to use the last remaining money, then i was gonna pay the rest with cash. Well, apparently, what she purchased the night before was never taken off, so it payed for the whole amount. So, we had to drive back to the bank, to replenish the funds on the debit card. 12 miles out of the way. Okay, it happens. Stopped in Lebanon Illinois, about 75 miles from home, for a restroom break. Noticed the back tire was low. Put air in it, got on the interstate about 7 miles away, and the tire went flat.

Pulled over, changed the tire (after taking all the stuff out of the trunk first, of course). Drove back to Lebanon. Sunday, nobody's open. So, I have to go back to the same interstate, only west towards St. Louis, about a 15 minute drive in the opposite direction. Had an hour stop over there, to get the tire changed. Couldn't be fixed, had to buy a new one, of course.

So, it took us damn near 4 hours, to get to what usually takes a little over an hour, LOL. Just my luck. Oh well, life goes on. We're here, and it's freakin' nice, love it.

That sounds like a typical road-trip Dubz. Except for the Dad yelling ''Don't make me turn this car around!'' and the Siblings yelling ''He's on my side!''

All the family left, so after a nice day of grilling, football, and Wii...I actually got a bunch of kydex cut out, Now all I have to do is start heating, bending and riveting. I think it can wait til tomorrow LOL
