Sissy bows have training wheels and matching tree stands because they are too heavy to lug around for dayskidding. I used to shoot compounds when I was a younger. I just prefer mine these days.

Ok guys, I'm an idiot apparently. I got my first ever 1911 yesterday, A Rock Island blued wood grips and picatinny rail. I just tried for a fraking hour to field strip it for it first cleaning. I *finally* figured it out... wish RIAs came with manuals... pics soon!
In these situations youtube is a great resource. 1911's are a bit tougher to tear down than a lot of handguns, but they are so fun to shoot. I'd find a good video on youtube and bookmark it cuz you'll need it more than once.Oh and while you're at it here is a great youtube video to watch about how to grip a 1911 along with a bunch of other great tips. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XQy5yKN-2vw&feature=related
I spose they just fiddled around with their new 1911 for an hour to figure out how to field strip it....I agree that theres tons of diagrams, books, etc out there on a 1911, but when you are trying to figure out something at 5am on a Sunday morning and nothing else is accessible, youtube can be a big help once you sort through the bs. Nothing beats actually having someone right there to show you how to do something though, thats for sure.
Contrary to popular belief, Murphy is not a tool.
He is a utensil.

What's a good but inexpensive flashlight sheath that would fit a surefire g2? I'm in need of one since I currently carry mine diagonal in a Leatherman wave nylon sheath.
I didn't realize photobucket had editing stuff. interesting.
