Oh hell, Nathan will never make them now.……….a little vest bowie
Oh I think it's the opposite, I think it'll be a gateway knife to making a proper 9 1/2" + bowieOh hell, Nathan will never make them now.
Those are certainly nice looking knives man, but I don't think these knives really do proper bowie stuff (the deadly b a c k c u t) until the blade is around 10"That's a lot of knife to tote around...

I learned a long time ago that knife fighting isn't my thing...Those are certainly nice looking knives man, but I don't think these knives really do proper bowie stuff (the deadly b a c k c u t) until the blade is around 10"

Haha, I have been stabbed in the line of duty myself. Took a couple years break from the hobby after that one...I learned a long time ago that knife fighting isn't my thing...
But yeah, a little more length would certainly lend itself to that technique.
Nice! Don is famous for having a huge stash of the best W2. I'm holding my breath that the stuff I bought elsewhere will produce a nice hamon...W2. A man after my own heart. The only piece I have with W2 is from Don Hanson, which he named his "Blues Trapper"
