Fingers crossed! Not going to watch the game but . . . GO BENGALS!!!!

Congrats to the US Men's Hockey Team for beating Canada at the Winter Olympics for the 1st time since 2010!!! No NHL players on the team due to Covid. Another Miracle Year for the Men's US Hockey Team at the Olympics? We'll see . . .

--------------------------------------

Congrats to Nathan Chen for taking the Gold in Men's Single Figure Skating for the US the other day. Only the 7th American man in the history of the Winter Olympics to win that medal.

Kudos to 37 yr old Katie Uhlaender for competing in her 5th (and apparently last) Winter Olympics; her 1st was in 2006 in Torino, Italy. Anyone who can slide face down a narrow frozen chute of ice on a tiny sled at over 70 mph has some "balls."

I don't ride a motorcycle anymore but still have the gear in case I do and I'd love to have a motorcycle helmet w/a copy of Katie's graphics on it.

It ROCKS!!!

Ordered a set of Toyo Open Country AT3s for the 4Runner. Should get 'em mounted on Wednesday. Thanks guys for sharing your suggestions.

I need to buy a new set of Toyo Open Country M/Ts for my F250 too but have put off until I can decide to buy/lease an F150 Lightning.

Put down $100 for a reservation for 1 but am still waiting for the call to tell me there's 1 available for me to buy/lease.

Saw one at a dog/pony show offered by Ford but they didn't let you drive it. Just got to ride in 1 over a short course in a parking lot. They didn't even have one you could look at/sit in like at the car show.

So, I still have no clue whether I'd want to buy/lease 1 or not. We'll see . . .

Who won the Figger Skating?

BTW, I hate the Rams, too (and their owner). But I'm a mercenary and bet them for a grand on the money line. So I'm like :( and 🕺 at the same time.

Ice Dancing - French 1st, Russians 2nd and US 3rd & 4th. French were predicted to win. The US only won the Bronze.

------------------------------

You bet $1k on a football game? If I had bet, I would have bet on the Bengals, lost and have been even more than just annoyed that LA won.

LOL! ;)

------------------------------

On a more positive note . . .

The US Men's Hockey team are 3-0 after beating Germany and get a "bye" into the next (semi?) elimination round.

Erin Jackson wins the Gold at 500m in Women's Speed Skating; 1st Black woman to win a medal in Olympic history.

The US goes 1 & 2 in the MonoBob (single bobsled, a new event); Kallie Humprhries (a naturalized US cit from Canada) won the Gold.

Lindsey Jacobellis (36) & Nick Bumgartner (40) - senior citizens by Olympic standards - won the Gold in mixed snowboardcross.

------------------------------

The medal count for the US currently stands at 15: 7 Gold, 6 Silver & 2 Bronze.

One Silver may turn to Gold if the Russian's are disqualified from the Team Figure Skating competition because their 15 yr old quad-queen Kamila Valieva was found to have been taking a banned drug in (of all places) Russia just prior to the start of the Olympics.

A decision on the matter is pending tomorrow (Mon).

If the "fix" is in, she'll be aquitted, the Russians can keep the Gold for Team Figure Skating and she can continue to compete in the Women's Figure Skating competition (on Tues) which she is expected to win.
