Random Thought Thread

I was touching up and cleaning the head of this tomahawk when my wife walked in from work and I looked up for a second to say "hi"...

...The next thing I said was "I'll see you when I get back from the emergency room".

15 stitches on the back of my right thumb from the nail and down over the knuckle.

I've now had 45 stitches in my right hand since the late 90's. All self inflicted. (Only 30 of them with edged tools.)

My left hand has the only stitches received by a knife wielding miscreant that wasn't myself.

Surgical staplers might be worth checking out.

Nathan the Machinist Nathan the Machinist I told her that it had to have hit bone and this is why it hurts as bad as it does. When she went to the clinic, they offered glue ($40) or stitches. We got her steri-strips. The children's hospital uses them often in place of stitches.

She, oddly, has a request from you, Nathan. Apparently, she needs a skinner....or boot dagger....or integral shiv. Not for free, of course. Just to be 1st in cue. Really odd request, I know. Something about no warning label on the K18?
Weirder still, is she didn't say this out loud. We had one of those couple moments where I was able to read her mind. Very strange.....she thanks you in advance.
