Well, maybe not good as new. The sticky contactor is hard on the points. They're a little bit burned up. I can clean them up but there's not another 30 years of life left in them.

I would retire this old machine, all of our other machines were at least made in this century, but there's something about this old box way Mori Seiki that they don't make anymore. I'm going to keep limping it along for as long as I can. It is such a beast.

I was all about the earl grey til we ran out, now I'm on to green tea. When we run out I'm back to the earl. I like the sleepy time tea at night when I head back out to the shop
we have a couple apple trees that bomb us with apples, but I think this'll be an off year so I'm not expecting much

Lapsang, for me. Never get tired of it. Or roasted green tea. Kyoto has shops that roast tea right on the street and that smell will change your life. You want to eat it.

You should of just got a new contactor. 😂😂 Or does it have special auxiliaries?

It was simple enough to clean it, file the points and put it back in. Smooth as the day they built it. The pain in the ass is going to be putting all those electrical connections back into the right places. It's like brain surgery in some of those spots in the back. There's a little varistor in there that's hard to reach. I'll tackle it after I finish lunch.

I know exactly what you mean, some of those are a royal pita.
