I used to follow stray cats around the development we lived in when I was maybe four or five...and I'd climb through windows into the cellars following them.

Anyway, I ended up covered head to toe in fleas. My mother about dropped dead when she saw me. Called my father home from work, threw me in the bathtub and nearly scalded me trying to rid me of the fleas which were biting the living shit out of me.

I had an experience similar to that, but I had bull nettles all over me. I was about 11 or 12 and the thoroughbred mare (Ginger) that I was riding stepped into a skunk hole and went down. I went tumbling through the bull nettles. Definitely one of the worst days of my life.

I've been using a pair of Magnacut Mules for several months in the kitchen. Holds an edge really well, sharpens easily and seems to be extremely corrosion resistant. I haven't put it through any strenuous tests, but I'm really liking it.

I’ve been using a CRK Small 31. I haven’t done anything abusive with it, just opening packages etc. I would say it’s a little less hair-popping than when I got it so edge retention doesn’t jump out at me as exceptional given how lightly I’ve used it however it’s got zero staining or marks on it after being in my pocket for yard work, gym stuff, etc so corrosion resistance seems top notch.

No, I mean it literally. I am pretty conservative in my spending. Any purchase over about $200 I will take months to decide on. But if I drink fairly "reasonable" amount, I suddenly realize that I am being a pussy and just buy it. Can't wait to use my new ear buds.
