That reminds me of an experience I had as a young kid, yoko yoko

I used to follow stray cats around the development we lived in when I was maybe four or five...and I'd climb through windows into the cellars following them.

Anyway, I ended up covered head to toe in fleas. My mother about dropped dead when she saw me. Called my father home from work, threw me in the bathtub and nearly scalded me trying to rid me of the fleas which were biting the living shit out of me.

Good times...

Ugh.

Didn't have it with fleas, but I DID learn about fire ants in the South, the hard way.

Was playing in long'ish grass and didn't realize I'd stopped on/near a fire ant mound.

Interesting thing about those assholes; they use pheromones to signal/coordinate their attacks. I didn't notice that they had swarmed onto my feet and ankles until they ALL began biting me at the same time. I was somewhat allergic to insect bites and stings when I was a kid. My foot swelled up like a friggin balloon (probably somewhere around 40-60 bites).

Fortunately, it didn't trigger anaphylaxis (unlike a buddy of mine in grade school, after getting stung by ONE bee. Stung on the arm, and his face/neck began swelling up. Ambulance ride from school. They got there quick, and he ended up fine, but he wound up needing to carry an Epipen everywhere, just in case). I can definitely sympathize with Tony.

Has anybody seen any good pictures of a double edge dagger ground utility fighter that I could use on today's sale?

You are only selling five, you won’t need pictures

Just post the thread and then get the hell out of the way.
Grenock is right.
Only the thread subject matters to us.
Just make sure the subject is correct then all is good Sir.

Interesting you mention that.

I've lived here for going on 19 years, and have had dogs for 17 of them. This is the first year, (last month or so), that while I walk my dog at about 10 PM nightly that I am challenged by a lone hornet that comes out of the forest and buzzes me (and my headlamp). Neither I nor the dog appreciate it, especially since the little bastard might signal his or her buddies into a frenzy of attack.

The last couple of nights I made my approach a little shorter, and then shorter again...by about 15 yards and then another 15 yards, and still got the treatment. All in all this has happened about a dozen times. (One night I swung a blackthorn stick at the hornet and actually knocked it to the ground. Lucky shot, and thankfully it didn't signal its pals.)

I think tonight I'm going to walk in the opposite direction as I feel like I've been tempting fate a bit too much.

Anyway, I find it odd that it's the only time in 19 years I've had this happen. (Outside of the usual daytime skirmishes with yellowjackets and their friends.)

You can't see your eyes, unless you look in a mirror, and they are known as the windows to your soul.

I can't see my asshole either, unless I look in a mirror, so I was wondering if there is some sort of correlation between the two.

I'll get back when I find out more.

I've ended up in the hospital a few times from fire ants. One little fuggin ant that is so small you can barely see it was enough to send 220 lb me to the ER. Pretty unbelievable. I now have a combo of chewable Benadryl, pepcid ac, and prednisone in all of my IFAKs that I take as soon as I get stung and that seems to prevent it from getting to the point where I would need to use an epipen or head to the ER. I loathe those little sons of bitches!

"When you look yourself in the eyes, and see an asshole..."

Wait, wut?

😂
