When I've actually ordered from Optics Planet, which has been rare, I was able to get some pretty good deals and they were shipped within days.

Can't remember if I ever used them for ammo, I may have. Mostly I have some other sites I prefer for that.

me ''Hey is this isn't supposed to look like this. I remember it being an issue last time the part was run.''

next guy ''I wouldnt even worry until about 25 pieces have been run in a row. First few are usually scrap anyhow.'

On a 4m28s cycle time

If you hate money as much as the next guy please send it to me for proper disposal.

This kind of nonsense is why American manufacturing has been struggling. You wouldn't see this somewhere where people are hungry.

Yeah, I've gotten some pretty decent deals from them.

The one time I had a pretty long delay was for a scope. After several months, the manufacturer was still backlogged (and the holdup).

With Optics Planet, click the 'Check Availability' button. If it says ANYTHING other than 2-4 days, it means it's drop shipped from the manufacturer/supplier, and delivery is dependent on them and whenever Optics Planet's allocation is finally available.

The particular scope I ordered, was OOS everywhere, so I placed the order knowing this, because Optics Planet had a great discount coupon on the scope's debut, making the price better than anywhere else.

Well, I placed the order out of season, and when the season began ~7+ months later, and still no scope, I contacted them and they said, "We're still waiting on our allocation from the manufacturer. Sorry for the delay. You have 2 options: you can continue waiting, or you can order any ither scope we have available, and use that coupon".

I ordered a Kahles instead, and Optics Planet delivered, at a price I've only ever seen when sold as 'Used' (after the discount from the coupon they allowed me to switch) 😮

Ordered quite a bit from them over the years, and as long as I check, and know what I'm in for, I personally haven't had an issue that would make me not purchase from them again.

The the c19 used to be a valid excuse but it no longer is and they are cracking down,,which pretty much amounts to management telling us and unfortunately some carriers feel they are above that. Union protects em so they dont give a f 🤬

I wonder if a class action lawsuit would make them crack down (defrauding customers who've been paying for a service that isn't being provided)?

We all know that CALs only make money for the attorneys (which is why they're happy to take cases), but it usually forces companies to take the issue seriously.

There should be a big disclaimer when you go to pay for the service that there's a high likelihood that it will not be provided.

It is a sham.

This is not how things are supposed to work in this country.
Exactly. We all understand that C19 messed with things like signature confirmation, but nowadays, it's simple, either remove the option completely and/or post a big disclaimer why/(that) the service isn't being provided.

If you're going to take the payment for the service, then you'd damned well better provide the service being paid for.

My sister has a winter home in Naples, about 9 miles from the coast, but they’re still gonna get hit.
Luckily, they are in Springfield, mo right now so they’re safe. Still worried about the house though.
She says, at least we’re on the same grid as the hospital so our electricity will get fixed quicker.
