It's nice to take your kids out for dinner and drink ....

They were arguing about motorcycles, BTW. #1 on the left wants to ride, #2 on the right doesn't want her to. Dad stays quiet and enjoys :)
They even argue when they get older? Oh god, I’m in trouble. 😂

I recall something about not allowing a proxy for the preorders. I'll just hope for the best. I should be fine assuming they don't sell out quickly. 🤣

I don't remember hearing about no proxies for pre-orders, but you may be right. But I think that there should be an exception for good customers.
I would imagine that the "Shiv" will sell out quickly.

Osage scales on the Shiv 2.0 “wood” be divine. Is there a special prayer or tribal ritual/dance which can make this happen?

Osage is not a rare wood at all, but nice Osage isn't quite so easy to come by. I'm working on finding a source of material that lends itself to my knife scales. I've been down this road a few times and I keep coming back to smaller pieces of aged figured wood harvested in Oklahoma. I have a tree of it that's 10 years old now but it won't yield much and the wood suppliers like to sell large pieces of a related species in South America that doesn't have the gem quality and moves on me.

I am keeping my hopes very high for an Osage offering, specially since it seems that you have thoroughly exhausted all of your AfBW reserves. In my mind, the Shiv arguably being your toughest and strongest knife, which will be even grander in D3V greatness, must be paired with one of the strongest wood specially if that wood gets your critical seal of approval.

It is tough to beat Arizona Desert Ironwood. It's pretty durable.

It may not be from Arizona, the desert, OR be made of iron but right now I've got--

''Yes dear. Now? Oh I was just typing something super clever that will entertain and make people think more highly of me.

Yes I can get back to work. That's fine.''

I guess we will never know what hilarious quip I had in store because my memory isn't what it used to be.

oh well.

Form tools responsible for a +/- .0004'' tolerance that are ground to the HIGH SIDE of the tolerance no matter how much, should NOT be accepted from the manufacturer.

On the "high side" of that mostly? I can't tolerate accept that. 🤣

(Just funnin' with you, Clem.)
