I don’t encourage anyone to spend more than they are comfortably able on something as silly as a knife. However, with that said, and in reference to what you posted above Josh, I have a couple questions for you to ponder.

The knives you have that are just sitting around, will they appreciate in value over the next year, five years or more?

The Shiv you could buy Monday for $750, what do you think it may be worth after it is out of production for a year, five years or more?

My unsolicited opinion, that I am happy to shove back up my ass if you want me to, were I in the position you described, I would get rid of any of the knives just sitting that are not likely to hold their values and make a Shiv purchase happen. If history is any indication, your money will be well invested at that point.

If I have to buy some of your cast offs to make it happen, I will do my best to help you out. You are certainly an active and easily recognized brother in the fraternity and you should have a version of one of the most iconic CPKs made.

Lastly, I almost said you should get rid of that POS Dodge to fund a couple Shivs, but I figured that was so logical and made so much sense to everyone already, that I didn’t need to bring it up.😜
