Go for it. Think of it as a dagger with one edge (I don't do daggers for similar reasons as you). That can also peel potatoes .... (that was my logic)

I think you are right that there were probably two or three with the longer sharpened swedge. But there was not any that had different geometry in addition to the long sharpened area. On this shiv he plans to do a separate variation with a smaller Fuller.

Any chance for a 3D mockup (or MS Paint) for those on the fence on which version before payment is due?
