Freezing rain from Friday is staring to melt. 100,000 customers with no power then. 9000 still without.

We lost 1 tree and about 15% of the branches on this one but at least one tree in every yard is down. What a mess. Still many, many unpassible streets.

Wow! That sounds no bueno. Good luck and Godspeed with the clean up.

Sell all your Arc'Teryx gear and then move up to the high desert area, near areas 51 or 52; either one would do :P

Wow! Pretty darn serious. I imagine dealing with all of that on a healing foot and with a sore finger is not the most exciting thing . Mike

Did I miss it somewhere?

Are there gonna be sheaths included with the BC preorder? It wasn't specified in the pre-order thread...TIA and happy new year fellas!

This is sort of random. After loading the photos, I see that they are pretty terrible. Probably shouldn't post them with the nice pictures in the CPK pictures sub-forum.

So the poor ignorant Christmas tree was trash talking the Behemoth, mistakenly thinking, that with the Behemoth being so well clothed (Paul Long), it couldn't possibly behave in an uncivil way. Kind of a mistake....

Nice Mike! I have a 18’ tree that came down in the freezing rain to process. I don’t think my BC will make it in time!

How does the sheath carry? Too heavy for the belt?

Hi Justin. I have very little experience carrying big knives for any distance, so my opinion is probably not worth a lot.

With my Levi’s and a sturdy belt, the knife carries pretty well and comfortably in this sheath. With light pants and a light belt, things might get a bit saggy. It feels like it would be fine for working around the yard and or a lot of short distances with sheathing and unsheathing, as with trail/path clearing.

If I were going to do a longer hike, with no knife work, I’d put it in or on a pack. Mike
