I wanted to mention this ^^^ earlier, but my post was sounding a bit "racial", and I know how that might serve as a trigger.

My Family is mostly Spanish/Mexican-American and has been in this area (*South Texas) since the Queen of Spain gifted large plots of land to settlers, LONG before Texas was even a State. Like I tell my Buddies who love to rib me, "We didn't swim across anything...We got locked-in."

Anyhoo, being a Butcher (*my paternal Grandfather, and his Dad before him) insured that their Families ate WELL. My Dad told me that his Dad used to come home with huge boxes of "skirt" (*"fajitas), even after leaving the trade. That stuff, that we're paying several dollars a pound for, was considered "trash" meat.

Again, my Grandfather ate anything...innards (*"tripas"), brain (*"sesos), eyes (*"ojos), etc., etc., etc.
How about a good steaming cabeza? I remember those being a traditional Easter meal in my family.

And fresh tacos de lengua can be melt in your mouth sublime...

I can't say i've heard of those other two! But if it is more-or-less the same as vegemite, I think i'd rather cut off my own leg than try it as a tea 😳
🤣
IIRC, they're all based on some yeast extract stuff with a bargeload of salt.

Bovril has beef extract, so it's a little more like salty beef bouillon (hence making 'Bovril tea', which is really just a big dollop/spoonful of Bovril mixed in hot water).

My aunt would add a good dash of pepper, so it was basically hot, spicy beef bouillon, which really warms you up in cold weather. I think they actually sell/sold that during games at soccer/football stadiums in the UK (without the pepper?).

Oh, believe me, I remember some lengua tacos. I always preferred "tripas", but needed 'em cooked pretty crispy.

"Menudo" was a "thing" in my Family. (*and most Families in South Texas) I wasn't in love with it, but liked the broth and hominy. My older Cousin would always make a batch of "Pozole" for us kids...who didn't like chewing on the "rubberland"-like" meat in the Menudo.

Here is some fodder for your cannon since your limbic system seems to be already lubricated:

PS. before y'all shyte on FORD remember that in a recent customer survey, Mercedes-Benz came dead last at # 20 with TESLA at # 19 in terms of reliability.
Says it's on Bronco Sports and Escapes, probably deserve to be burned up in one of those turds if you bought one.
